Creating effect presets

- [Instructor] So all the effects that you add on to clips, the changes that you make, the animation that occurs across various parameters, these can all be saved inside of Final Cut and then be used later. Now a lot of the times, sometimes people think about saving effects presets as trying to save something that's extremely complicated, maybe you stacked three effects on a clip and want to make sure that you save it for later use. And trust me there is use in that, but we also want to consider the fact of saving simple effects as well. Most of the time as a video editor myself, when it comes to working in Final Cut I find that I do a lot of simple tasks all the time and I need those presets the most so I want to encourage you that while Final Cut can save all types of presets, consider the simple ones as well. I'm currently here in my Chapter 9_7 project and let us apply a fade in here to this clip. So this could be done really easily, done in another movie where what we'll do is…
