- [Nick] Hi, I'm Nick and welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. Jeff's not here this week. We're gonna take a look at creating custom clip names inside of Final Cut Pro X. Some of the key concepts we're gonna cover are why have custom clip names in the first place, where to work with the Info Inspector to create some custom clip names, and some custom clip name presets for particular project examples. And then, this is all to bring home the idea of being able to batch rename groups of clips inside of Final Cut Pro X. Now, it's worth mentioning that this does not change the name of the file that's on your system. Those could be a great workflow in certain cases where you need to batch rename a group of clips to easier identify them inside of Final Cut Pro X. Let's get started.
