- Before venturing to Motion and After Effects, FCP X has a variety of tools and content that you can use to integrate Motion graphics into your video. The first thing that we're going to integrate is a lower third, and this may not be a jump out of your chair task, but lower thirds are everywhere, and an essential part of many editing projects. Let's take a look at animating a title template directly in Final Cut Pro. So let's add some lower third text to our project. We can go into the Title browser located down here, and some of you might be familiar that there is a category specific for lower thirds. These are lower third templates. I'll just skim over one of these, the Date and Time, that you can use and apply to your projects anytime, and some of them already also contain animations.
