- Besides inserting and appending clips…onto our primary story line,…we can connect material above it…and even overwrite existing content with other clips.…Let's see how we can perform…these two additional types of edits.…So I'm here working in the project…that I did from the last exercise.…I'm in fact in the chapter 5.2…keyword collections folder…with my YOGA CUT project…that I double clicked to open into the timeline.…And the first thing I would like to do…is overwrite a shot…over this first and a little bit of this second…shot here in the timeline.…
I'm going to go into my FOOTAGE,…and inside my FOOTAGE,…I'm going to look into that yoga keyword collection…we were using a little bit earlier.…And just to sort of highlight this point,…we made a selection,…you can see the in and out points…are still highlighted here,…and this clip we placed as the first clip in the timeline.…Now, I'm going to just to extend this selection.…So I'm going to try to drag…the out point of this clip to be a little further.…And you can see I get a Tool Tip right now…
