- [Instructor] Welcome to Final Cut Pro 10 Weekly. This is Jeff. We're going to talk about color matching and then we'll talk about it the professional way, when Final Cut 10's color match just doesn't do it. We've got to do this always after color balancing. As we examine it, we're going to talk about whether or not we think it's a luma or chroma issue. I'm going to show you a cool technique of adding a black and white layer. I'm going to show you how to add a black and white adjustment layer to help you see the contrast. We're going to go and then balance the RGB parade with a special switch. And then we'll dial in saturations using your vectorscope. One warning: you've got to normalize the shot first. You've got to balance the shot however you want. Without it, it may be harder or impossible to match. And generally, we always do luminance before chrominance. Here I am inside of Final Cut Pro 10. I've got a shot that's looking pretty good.
