- [Jeff] Welcome to Final Cut Pro 10 Weekly, I'm Jeff, Nick's not here this week, and we're going to talk about Color Finale. Color Finale for me, is this third party plugin for Final Cut 10. It gives me all the comfortable color correction controls that I'm used to. Curves, three way, and we're going to talk just in here a little bit of a bonus about the Tangent Ripple. This is Color Finale's website. It runs 99 and 149 for the pro version. I think the pro version is the one you want. Layer based grading, it gives you conventional telecine controls, wow. Three way color corrector curves. It handles LUTs way way way deeper than Final Cut 10 does. In the pro version, which is the one I'd recommend, has full ACES workflow. That's the academy color encoding system. Don't even worry about it unless you get into HDR color correction. The full version drives a Tangent Ripple.
