- [Jeff] Welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. I'm Jeff, Nick's not here this week and I want to talk to you about my favorite hidden sorting menu. It's called the Clip Filtering menu and you use it all the time and I think you miss this feature of it. I call it a set of hidden wonderful filters. And this is the whole idea here. It's the clip filtering menu which has got two special tricks, group by and sort by. And I just want to add in a note about metadata here when we talk about it. Here inside of Final Cut, I've got my standard project here. I've got a lot of footage in it. We're going to take a second here. Let's hide the timeline area. Let's make this a little bit smaller so we can investigate this. You go up under this menu a lot and it's these bottom two items, Group By and Sort By.
