Bringing a motion generator to FCP X

- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to take a generator that's available in Apple Motion and make it available in Final Cut, for us to tweak. And this generator is not in Final Cut right now. That's what makes it so exiting. We're literally taking a piece of the application of Motion and making it available to us to use in Final Cut. We'll see how easy that is to do. I'm here in the template we just opened in the last movie. We really don't need to save it, but I'm going to go to File menu now in Apple Motion and choose New. We've come to this screen before, where we can choose from a number of blank Motion projects to start with, and I just want to drag your attention to everything but Motion Project, which has the word Final Cut next to it, and this is just your gateway from Motion to Final Cut. So, remember I wanted to take a generator that's inside of Apple Motion, bring it in to Final Cut, so lets just choose Final Cut Generator. Well choose the Broadcast HD 1080 format…
