Bringing a generator from motion to FCPX
- All the generators in Final Cut were made in Motion. In this movie, we're going to bring a generator from Motion into Final Cut, as well as make all of its parameters available. Think of it as taking a piece of Motion's architecture directly to use in your timeline. So as you can see, I'm not in Final Cut right now, and that's because in order to bring over a generator from Motion into Final Cut, you've got to go to Motion. And the trick here to get the generator inside Final Cut is at the project launch, so I've already clicked on Motion to launch it, a single click from my dock, and instead of choosing a Motion project, I'm going to choose a Final Cut Generator. And with this Final Cut Generator selected, this is basically the way of saying, you know what, I want this to appear in the titles and generators sidebar, specifically in the generators section.
