- [Nick] Welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. I'm Nick and Jeff is not here this week. Quite disappointed. We're going to look at Beyond the Ken Burns move in Final Cut Pro X. We're going to be taking a look at photo cutouts in Apple Motion this week. And in a few weeks from now actually taking this effect to another level. So some of the topics we'll be covering are grab onto and import a layered Photoshop file. We will then separate the layers of in 3D Space which is what Motion is amazing at. We're then going to add a virtual camera then pick it up next week where we'll animate that camera, add some lights and look at working with depth of field. So this idea for this weekly, this particular weekly two part show came from a Johnny Cash documentary that I worked on several years ago. One of my responsibilities as a video editor at the time was to take stills from my Final Cut project and send it over to Apple Motion and to do tests on it.
