- [Jeff] Welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. This is Jeff, no Nick this week, and I want to talk about auto color. Kind of a going to give you an approach. If you don't know anything about color, we're going to look at all that color information out there, I feel it's a little overwhelming. I'm going to show you how to get the most out the automatic tools. Without we're going to cover these three concepts about not analyzing color on import, about using the white point possibly for the color balance, and then the order that you use the balance and matching. So here we are in Final Cut X and you can see I've got a timeline where I've got two shots. And you can just see the temperatures change, probably two different setups between these two. When you go and you choose to import, there's actually a choice in Final Cut X of analyzing and fixing some problems, and particularly you can analyze the video for balanced color.
