- In this movie, we'll take a look at the automatic color correction strategies in Avid Media Composer. By the way, if you're not familiar with videoscopes, as well as what automatic color correction inherently is, then you'll just wanna watch the second movie in this chapter, called "Understanding How Automatic "Color Correction Works." Alright, so let's switch over to the Color Correction toolset. There are two color correction groups in Avid Media Composer. We have HSL, which is Hue Saturation Luminance, and we have Curves. Now each one behaves a little differently as far as order of operation goes, so while I won't be going into all of the whys of this work flow, I will give you the basic gist.
