Applying camera and third-party LUTs

- LUTs or lookup tables can be a great way to apply automatic corrections to a shot that was filmed flat in the camera or even stylize a clip. Let's see the LUTs available in Final Cut Pro 10, how to import lookup tables into Final Cut and how to even create our own with the help of Photoshop. So here I am in my chapter five four project and we're going to take a look at LUTs or lookup tables inside of Final Cut. The first type of lookup table we're going to take a look at happens to be a camera LUT. So sometimes you might be recording in a certain camera profile like I did here with the A7S2, where the whole process was with S log three was to make sure the image was fairly neutral and expanded in post. Same thing true of this field shot where it was filmed in a long format and the idea here is that it's meant to be flat here at first. But then you expand your contrast in post.
