Appending and inserting clips

- Getting clips into our projects is an essential part of the editing workflow. Knowing the difference between appending and inserting clips can help you position exactly where you want your clips to go on the primary storyline. Let's append and insert some clips into our project. What you'll see here is I have a project loaded up in the timeline from the 5.1 Keyword Collection. All it has is one clip in the Timeline. I would like to add a clip after this and a clip before this. The clips that we're going to use, and assets, are located in the footage events in your keyboard shortcuts library. So I'll hit the disclosure triangle next to the footage events and go down to my yoga Keyword Collection. These Keyword Collections were created ahead of time. Now, if you're not in list view like me, simply click between filmstrip and list view, and you'll see that now you see a series of columns displayed here. Scroll over to the right to reveal the duration column, and now just double-click…
