- [Instructor] This chapter is all about color inside of Final Cut Pro X. And what a better way to start a chapter off by talking about a commonly occurring issue on film sets and in acquiring footage, which is that some of your footage might actually have a color tint to it or what's commonly referred to as a color cast. I'm here in my Chapter 11_1 project. If you take a close look at the shots inside, there happens to be a yellowish-reddish tint. This is common in a situation where there's mixed lighting. So we can see that there might be some light shining on the subject from the outside windows of the shop, as well as the tungsten lighting that's currently in the room. And since a camera can't adjust itself like a human, I mean, our eyes are constantly adjusting themselves based on the lighting scenarios that we're in, we have this situation where someone hasn't probably calibrated their camera for the lighting scenario.
