All about Auditions: Editing and modifying auditioned clips
- In this movie, we're going to through a brief overview of auditioning clips, and we'll get into some of the extra features that you may not know about. We're also going to really hone in on keyboard shortcuts to make auditioning clips as efficient as possible. Now, in other editing software, when editors want to try out different shot options they usually either swap the shots out completely to test them out, or they stack clips on top of one another, and enable the takes they want to look at, and disable the other ones. Needless to say, that can get a bit cumbersome, but in Final Cut Pro X, instead of swapping shots or instead of stacking clips and doing the whole enable, disable game, we can add the various options into one big container, that's our audition space, where I can try out all of the options. All right, so I've got my Creative Letter Press scene, and I think that things are working pretty well, but I'm curious how a couple of other line deliveries would work in this…
