Adjusting audio source levels
- [Instructor] Working with audio starts up in the browser. Let's take a look at how to work with the audio levels of the raw clips. When I talk about audio, I talk about starting with good audio to begin with, and that means I'm going to examine some of my source clips. Some of my music for example, is way hot and loud. So are some of these machine clips here. I'm just going to select one of these. Notice that these clips don't have their wave forms. I'm just going to click the Clip Filtering menu and choose Wave Forms. There we go, I'm also going to point out here while there are meters here, let's make our life simple, let's go to one of our interview clips and hit Play. If you'd single click the meter, you get much better looking meters. Now from here, I'm going to hit Command 4 to open up the inspector, and let's take our timeline and just shrink it down an little bit in size. If you want to see everything, I'll just go ahead here for the time being and make it all very tiny…
