By panning audio to a specific speaker in Apple Final Cut Pro X, you can give the viewer a sense of where something is in relation to them to heighten the experience. In this video, join Nick Harauz as he demonstrates how to adjust the pan as an object travels across the screen in Final Cut Pro X.
- So I'm here in my chapter 7.3 project,…and you might notice that there's nothing…inside this project right now.…That's 'cause we're going to add some audio,…actually some audio that ships with Final Cut,…into here and then we're going to kind of play around…with the built in Pan in the audio inspector…to basically enhance it as people listen to it…through a pair of speakers.…So where do I find these audio effects?…Well first of all you have to go here.…It's called the photos and audio sidebar.…In some cases it's actually a gateway to iTunes…or Garage Band if you have it installed on your system.…
In other cases there's this whole sound effects browser…which can be extremely handy for you to have.…It's just a bunch of sound effects…that you can use in any of your projects,…they're royalty free.…In some cases there's also music that you can access.…Part of your reason if you don't see this,…you need to go to the Final Cut Pro menu…and download additional content.…This is what ships, these additional effects,…and in some cases a ton of various presets that we'll see…
