- Keywords are your gateway to organization…in Final Cut Pro X.…They work similar to bins in Final Cut Pro 7,…but with even more flexibility.…Let's see a few different ways that we can add keywords…on clips by accessing it with it's shortcut.…I'm here within my events where I've imported…all of that GoPro footage from the last movie…and I'm just going to skim over this first clip…which is some GoPro footage of someone skiing.…What I'd like to do is apply a keyword to it.…
So I'm going to select the clip,…and just to let you know,…if you wanted to access it from the menu,…there's a little key down here that allows you to do so.…In fact, as I hover over the little key,…it shows me cmd+k is the shortcut in order to access it.…I'll hit cmd+k to bring up my keyword editor…and there's in fact some keywords…already applied to this clip,…but I think a good keyword for this, is in fact skiing…and you'll see here I'll just type in the word skiing…in that keyword editor…and once I hit return, a new keyword collection…is going to be formed with this GoPro clip inside.…
