Light can be used to enhance a scene on camera. In Apple Final Cut Pro X, the light effects can target brighter or darker pixels and allow for some amazing end results during the post-production process. In this movie, join Nick Harauz as he explores this in the light category of Final Cut Pro X.
- [Instructor] In concluding our chapter…about effects inside of Final Cut Pro 10 video effects…we should mention 360 effects.…Right now I have my 360 effects project,…that you can find in your chapter five folder,…opened up and ready to go.…Why would you want to use effects…specifically designed to work with 360 footage?…That happens to do, in many cases,…that some effects don't treat every pixel equally…and because of this, one thing to notice…that they were also built to work with flat footage…or footage that's meant to be seen on a monitor…and not wrapped around a sphere.…
What happens in this case if you apply,…in some cases effects that don't effect…every pixel equally, like a blur?…If I go and select my effects browser…like we've done before, you'll see…the new category for 360 video.…Let's just add a regular blur,…something that's not designed for 360 video.…I'll add the Gaussian blur to the clip…and even just as is, if we look at this clip,…specifically inside the 360 viewer.…I'll close out my browser here for a second.…
