- This is Final Cut Pro X Weekly, I'm Jeff, Nick's not here. I want to talk about some great timeline display options, something to have you use the mouse a little bit less, and this is a tiny tip but it's crazy powerful. Basically here, the idea is that there's some keys that allow you to adjust the sizes and how much of the waveform shows in the timeline. I'm going to start with the waveform height here, and that's Control and Option, and the up/down keys. Everything that I'm doing is going to avoid going to this menu to make any of these adjustments. And as I hit Control and Option, those are the left two most keys, I'm going to use the up and down keys and take a look. Down, up, up, up, up, up. Down, down, down, down, down. It's a really quick way to change the way the timeline itself looks, and the variation on it, the same two keys, numbers one, two, three, four, five, and six, allow you to change the heights without ever having to travel to this menu and clicking these buttons.…
