- [Jeff] Welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. I'm Jeff and Nick is somewhere off being adventurous. This is Viewing Smarter in the Browser. And the browser we live in all the time and I just want to show you a couple things from watching other editors in Final Cut X, I've seen that they sometimes get and sometimes miss. I want to talk about the view menu in the browser, as well as the key to toggle the filmstrip view. I want to show you some stuff about clip names, as well as hiding them and then what continuous playback was meant to do. To start with here, I'm really talking about the view menu itself and the view menu has a browser area and this is the key, opt + cmd 2. It toggles the filmstrip list view. You'll be working in this view, hit the key, boom, you're now working in a list view. Let's hide my timeline area. A really hidden nuance in Final Cut X.
