Common Transform Libraries

- [Jeff] This is Final Cut Pro X Weekly, I'm Jeff, Nick's not here this week, we're going to talk about building a common transform library. One of the things I find is that we all too often reinvent our wheels. And in this case, I want to talk about these common sort of items to build: a dolly, a pan, a tilt, some common crops, and the whole idea here is just to quickly have these pre-built. I want to show you the ones I have built already. They're in my effects. I have it under common transforms, and you can see here for example, when I come to the stack of clips, hiding my browser, I want this top shot just to be the upper left, I can grab an upper left crop, drag and drop, or upper right, I've renamed them wrong, there we go. But it's just this idea that I can quickly build crops based on my need, animations based on my need, we'll do a push-in from 130% here, and I'm done, I hit play and I'm done, it's already got the push going on. That's kind of the idea that we're doing here…
