- [Jeff Greenberg] It's Final Cut Pro X Weekly. I'm Jeff, Nick's not here. And I want to talk to you about a headache I've dealt with over and over again. It's actually something that was working in Final Cut 7, but isn't working here in ten. It's the idea that when you have an effect and you add transitions, your key frames need to be adjusted. So the key concept is the problem we have only occurs on a copy and pasted or saved animation if it's applied. I want to show you how to fix the problem with the Show Video Animation switch. And I want to remind you that you can shift quickly to the In or Out point. When I jump into Final Cut ten here I'm just going to hide my inspector, hide my browser here. I'm going to go to my saved effects. I've got an effect here that says move left to right. I'm going to throw it on this clip. Go to the beginning, I hit play.
