Defining point of view

- You're building your story infrastructure. You've thought about your characters. You've thought about your setting, but now you need to think about point of view. What do I mean by point of view? Well, I'll just call it POV here. I like to think about who's the main voice of this video? Is the voice a "we" voice? Are we talking about something that we're all going to do? Is it an "I" voice? Am I talking about something that I'm doing? Is each character speaking in their own "I" voice? Maybe it's a "you" voice. Lots of how-to videos are "you," like this very one. "You might want to do this. "You might want to do that," so you have to think a little bit about the point of view in terms of the verbiage that you're going to use. And then you always have to think about who's going to be doing that speaking? Do you have a protagonist? Is there somebody who's really the main voice of this video, the person who everybody's going to see things through that person's eyes? That's an important…
