- Okay, so we have all these LED units in your kit, they have lots of different uses, lots of different descriptions. But let's say we want to apply them to one of the basic staples of a lighting setup. And that might be a key light in an interview or a sit down. Now, modifying the light to make it a nice, soft key if that's your intent, can be done in a number of ways. Say we start with a small source, we're in a small space and we don't have a lot of room but we want it to be a nice pleasing light. I'm going to take one of these smaller sources, your basic standard size, which is a one by one light panel and they make all kinds of these great softbox diffusers to soften the light, but as you see it's very self-contained so you don't need a lot of flags or a lot of means and extra equipment to control the light where it's going. So, I can use this as a key. And you can use smaller ones too, but this is just a nice size. It's a big enough source that it's going to wrap pretty good and…
