- [Instructor] Thanks for taking a moment to watch this movie. It might be one of the most important movies in the entire course. From here forward, even though we're talking about tables, you're going to notice in the exercise files that we have, something inside the relationships graph. You can go under the file menu, to manage databases, and when you open it up, you can click over here to relationships. You're going to notice that we've got these lines and all these things in between the boxes. These are what are called relationships and it is such an important concept that we dedicated an entire course to it. So what I strongly recommend you do before you go any further is to learn a little bit about relationships. This can help you understand how you create tables, how you like those tables together, and really, it's one of the most powerful parts of FileMaker because FileMaker is what's called a related database system.
