On-error steps
- [Instructor] If you take a look at the flow that I have here, I have four different steps. The first one is the trigger which is the Shopify customer created. I've added an if then to follow that, that checks to see whether or not this customer opted in for email marketing. And if so, I'm going to add them to a Shopify marketing list that I have on MailChimp. And then finally, I'm going to post a message to Slack indicating that that individual has been added to that list. But here's what the problem is. Step number four runs whether step number three ran successfully or not. So I might run into some problems if I try to subscribe to the MailChimp marketing list, but fail. So instead, I'd like to perform some type of remedial action instead. That's where I'm going to choose an on error step. I'm going to go over step number three, choose on error.
