Using utilities
- [Instructor] When you're selecting either a trigger or an action step in your editor pane, you may notice that there's this middle section that's called Utilities. So you may notice that all but two of them are grayed out and that's because right now I'm configuring a trigger, and a utility in Claris Connect is primarily meant to transform the output data from a flow step. So in a trigger, there's no previous flow step. So only two of these, schedules and Webhooks, both of which I'll go into in detail later in this course, can be used as triggers. The rest of them, though, can be used as action steps within your flows. There's over a dozen triggers and they can do everything from perform calculations to manipulate dates, manipulate lists, images, and so on.
