Using slide controls in your layouts

- I'd like to introduce you to a layout object that's similar to the tab controls that we just talked about in a previous movie. It's also available in Layout Mode. It's so similar in fact to Tab Controls that you can find this tool right under the Tab Control tool. It's called the Slide Control. This was something that was introduced in the past version of FileMaker. It's the same principle as a Tab Control. You can draw something, but as you can see here you're drawing something that looks a little bit different than a Tab Control. First, let's find a place for this and we'll actually build one of these for real. So let's say here, we've got a logo and we want to maximize the space that we're using inside this tab panel. We'll go in here and we're gonna lock the tab panel. And in front of it is this logo image. But, it ends up that we actually have three logos. We've got the company logo, a low res version, and a thumbnail version. And we want to be able to display all of those…
