Using guides, arranging, aligning, grouping, and locking layout objects

- Layout objects are the building blocks of layouts. Everything you can place on a layout, be it a field, an image, a portal, a label, whatever it is, they're all considered objects, and objects can be manipulated on layouts in order to give a nice clean professional look. In layout mode, you get a couple of tools available to you to be able to manipulate these objects, most of them are found in the Inspector. We're gonna concentrate on a group of tools that are found under the Position Tab in the Arrange and Align Section. First I'm gonna talk about Group, which you see down here on this bottom row. The idea of grouping layout objects together is something that you're gonna find that you'll end up needing at some point. Really what that means is you can grab multiple objects, and I can grab multiple objects either by selecting them and holding down the Shift key like this, or a more common practice is to drag my cursor until I touch all the ones that I want to select and now I've got…
