Using Undo and Redo in Layout mode

This is just a quick movie to talk to you about a pretty big new feature in FileMaker 13 that's relatively self explanatory but I think you'll really embrace it once you find out it exists. FileMaker 12 added the ability to support multiple undo's in Layout mode. Except, that the undo stack was purged when the layout itself was saved. So, for example, you go into Layout mode and, let's say, select these items here. Select all those fields. Go in here. Make them all bright yellow on the outside. And then, the actual fill color. Make that pink. Now, I can undo the formatting, while I'm still in Layout mode. So for example, undo formatting, undo the formatting again. So these multiple levels of undo while I was still in Layout mode were supported in previous versions, Let say I want to redo all that. The problem with that is that, I really want to look at what those look like in Browse Mode before I determine whether or not I want to save it. So now in 13, I can save these changes, go…
