Use layout-based triggers

- [Voiceover] Another group of script triggers are called layout-based triggers. These are triggers that you can assign to any given layout that will run a script on the load of a record, the commit of a record, loading of the layout, entering a new mode or even existing modes. So unlike their counterpart, the object-based triggers, these are set up on the Layout Setup dialog. That, of course, is also accessed in Layout mode, and you can get to the Layout Setup dialog by clicking on this little pencil next to the name of the layout in the drop-down list. Over here on the fourth tab, you see Script Triggers. Here are all the different triggers that are avaialble. OnRecordLoad triggers a script to run after loading a record. There are several actions that can trigger this event including switching records, switching layouts, opening a new window, creating or deleting a record, or performing a find operation.
