Understanding multipredicate relationships

Relationships in FileMaker can and should be used to implement the basic primary key to foreign key relationships, indicated on any entity relationship diagram. We've already discussed using the relationship graph to plot out our tables in our database, and also created relationships between those tables. You can see those here. And up until this point, we haven't had to modify any of these, so our relationship graph at the moment looks exactly like our entity relationship diagram did, and that's because the only table occurrences that we see on screen here are the ones that represent the individual base tables. But that's the key. These are just table occurrences, and the reason they're not called tables in the relationship graph is because you can actually add multiple occurrences of any one table.
