Testing a flow
- Once you've created your flow, you're going to want to test to make sure it works. And you can do that manually by triggering the event in the target app, and then verifying that that action step occurred. So, for example, in this case the trigger event is that a file is downloaded from box. So I want to go into my box account and download a file from that specific folder. And then I can check to see if the message was posted on Slack or not. So I go over into my box account, and I find the folder that I've configured in my flow. And then I perform the action which in this case is downloading a file. The download has occurred, but I don't see my Slack notification. That tells me that maybe I've encountered an error. Actually it's because this flow is not enabled. So let's try that one more time. Make sure that your flows are enabled. Then I'll go in the box and I'll try downloading again. The download happened.…
