- [Narrator] I'd like to talk for a moment about FileMaker's ability to send emails. This is native functionality that's been in the product for some time, although I will say that what we're talking about is outgoing emails. I would also mention that you probably shouldn't be spamming anybody, just as sort of a disclaimer there. But if you have functionality in your database similar to what we have here in this starter app where we're storing contact's e-mail addresses, maybe we have a button where we actually want to generate an email. Well, if we go into layout mode and we scroll over to that button; let's say we want to add a single step to it. The step that we're talking about is "Send Mail". So if we look at the input on "Send Mail", we'll see that in general the way that it works is you can either hard code in email addresses in carbon copy, blind carbon copy, subject message or you'll see that we can use the…
