- [Voiceover] Sometimes when you're searching in FileMaker, you may need to search for multiple criteria inside the same field. That might be confusing at first to figure out how to do that, so, for example, let's say we want to search for not only California, but also Washington. So, what do we do, do a comma with Washington? That won't work. What FileMaker actually allows us to do is go in and create one search request that you see teed up over here, and we can create another search request by hitting this button. So, let's say we do want to search for California and Washington. So, if we search for both of those together, let's see what we get. So, we get 56 records, which is a combination of California and Washington values. So, what we're actually doing here is performing what's called an Or search. So, for example, if I go into Find Mode and I enter in California, I want to look for anything where the state equals CA or I want to look for anything where the state equals WA. I…
