Layout object states

- [Instructor] If you've spent any time working with FileMaker you're probably aware that in Layout mode you can apply attributes to different layout objects. However, what you may not know is that these layout objects also have different things called states and each of those states can have formatting applied as well. So, let me show you what I'm talking about. So, I've selected a layout object here in the Exercise file, which is this container field and I'm going to go into my inspector pane, which if you don't see yours, just toggle it. If I click on the Appearances tab, it shows me the different fill color that's selected for this logo. I see that I've got a solid line and a line all the way around it, no quarter radius and some alignment and some other settings but what you may not notice is, there's these drop-downs here.
