Installing FileMaker Server
- [Instructor] Once you've purchased your license copy of FileMaker Server, you'll receive an installer that's appropriate to your operating system. Now once you've downloaded this installer, you'll be ready to install the software. But before you do the installation, there's a couple of things I want to go through that you should be aware of first. To begin with, you can in fact install FileMaker Server on more than one machine. As a matter of fact, the maximum amount of machines is two machines and if you decide to do that, one of the machines is going to be called the master. One of them is going to be called the worker. The master is where you're installing the FileMaker Server, the database hosting components.
