- There are many different ways to get data…into your solution, most of which involves…creating records while you're…inside your FileMaker solution,…but what if you have data…that was created elsewhere?…In that case, you want to do what's called…importing data into your FileMaker solution.…So I'm gonna show you how to do that in this movie.…First of all, let's take a look…at the database that we've got so far.…We can see under the Tables here…that we've got four of these tables…and three records and customers,…but no records in any of the rest of them.…
If you recall, in previous movies…I did have some data inside Products,…but for the purpose of this exercise…I've removed them.…So you can see we have zero records…in the Products table.…That's also evidenced in the upper left hand corner…by there being zero records indicated there as well.…So let's say that somebody has given us…an output from another system,…they've exported data out of another system,…or however that data was created,…but it's in a format that is not FileMaker.…
