This video provides a tour of the basic elements that make up the user interface in FileMaker Pro 16.
- [Instructor] Once you've got FileMaker installed…and you've checked your preferences,…it's good to get familiar with the interface,…and I'm going to give you a quick tour of the interface…in FileMaker Pro.…So what I'd like to point out is what…you see across the top of the screen.…This gray bar that you see at the very top…is what we call the Status Toolbar.…What I'd like to show you first…is in the upper left-hand corner.…You notice where it says one record,…and a little circle next to it.…Right now I just have one record…in this database, but when you have a bunch…of different records you'll see the number change.…You'll also see that number change…based on your found set.…
We'll talk a little bit more about that…later on in this course.…But you also see that we have record navigation…for creating new records in your database,…or deleting records in the database.…Pretty simple stuff there.…We happen to be looking at something…that's called Browse Mode.…This is the mode that you're in…when you're looking at data, or entering data,…
