- [Cris] Hi, I'm Cris Ippolite. Thanks for checking out these videos. In previous FileMaker courses I've tackled some of the fundamental concepts within building FileMaker Pro databases. But now I'm going to have some fun by putting on my developer hat, and diving into some of the more advanced concepts. In this course we're going to look at other uses of the calculation dialog, we're going to look at the concept of query relationships in building some interesting relationship concepts, I'm going to show you some of the advanced reporting hacks, talk about how you can share your custom apps on FileMaker Server, even share your customer apps in browsers using FileMaker WebDirect.
We'll even cover how to make your custom apps communicate with other apps on iOS devices, and we'll look at some of the new features in FileMaker 16, including how to parse JSON data in your FileMaker custom apps. So I'm really excited to be able to talk about advanced concepts in FileMaker, so without any further delay, let's dive right into it.
