- [Instructor] The signature capture feature in FileMaker Go allows for one-step signature capture integration in to FileMaker custom apps deployed on iOS devices by simply using container fields on the layout. Previously, the signature capture window appeared in fullscreen only, much like you see here. And this is still supported, but now on FileMaker Go for 16, we have the option to capture signatures directly into a container, which is called embedded, like you're looking at there, or into a floating modal window, which we now call overlay, like you see here. This new functionality is provided through an additional parameter in the Insert from Device, Signature script step, which allows the script writer to specify if the signature capture UI should be presented fullscreen, overlay, or embedded.
