Deleting records and backing up files
- [Instructor] Deleting records out of your FileMaker app is pretty easy to do, and actually might be a little bit too easy. That's why I wanted to take a moment to talk to you about deleting records. For starters, if you intent to delete a record, you can just hit the Delete button. You'll always get asked if you're sure that you want to delete the record, in this case we do want to delete it. You can also go under the Records menu. You'll notice that there's a quick key, which is Control + E for Windows, and for Mac, as you see here, Command + E. But something I want to point out is that also under this Records menu, right below the Delete Record is the Delete All Records. Now, you also get asked if you want to delete all the records, but it looks a lot like the one where you're just deleting the one record.
