Creating and applying static value lists

- [Instructor] Several of the field control styles, like dropdown lists, popup menus, checkbox sets, and radio button sets all require that you specify a value list for the values presented to the user. Value lists exist independently of field control styles, but they are closely affiliated. A given value list can be associated with any number of fields and any number of different layout contexts. Value lists are created and managed under File, Manage, Value Lists and you can see that we have a value list already created in there, which was for our previous exercise, but let's say what we want to do is create one for the Shipping Status field. We just have a Customer Status, but we do not have a Shipping Status. So let's create a new one by hitting the New button and you see that we have three different options. But before we choose an option we need to name our list. So we'll call it Shipping Status. Now I'm going to tell you that the Use Value List from Another File is just almost…
