- [Instructor] Claris Connect allows you to create FileMaker records from within your Claris Connect flows. This provides you with the ability to store data from your flows in FileMaker apps. Creating FileMaker records from your Claris Connect flows can also be a key component to keeping different data sources synchronized. For example, say that you want to create a customer record in your FileMaker app every time a customer record is created in your Shopify store. I'm going to walk you through an example of doing that very thing. You'll see that I have already set up a trigger based on the customer created flow trigger from Shopify. And what I'd like to do next is create a record in my FileMaker app each time a new customer is created in Shopify.
