- [Voiceover] Quick charts are a great way to allow…your users to create their own charts on the fly.…Quick charts are easy to do inside Table view…or really any view that you have in your database.…I'm going to show you how to create a quick chart…in Table view here.…So you have to make a couple decisions.…It's really about what you want to see in a chart…and it's a good idea to teach your users about quick charts…so that they don't have to come to you every time…they want to look at their data in a special way.…Now users who are familiar with working with spreadsheets…might be familiar with this to some degree.…So we've got this layout here…that's called the Customer List layout.…
We're looking at it in Table view…which is the third option here…or we can just choose View as Table.…What we want to do when we group data with our chart,…we want to start by sorting by one of the columns.…That's what going to actually group it for us.…So when you start in Browse mode,…FileMaker sets up the chart based on the field type…
