Configure a trigger
- [Instructor] When you first create a flow, you'll be asked to configure a trigger. A trigger is an event that initiates a flow and a trigger has two basic elements. First, the component, which is the utility or app in which the flow starts. And then the event in the component that initiates the flow. App triggers are real-time events that you can configure in a flow. You can choose any utility or app from this list that is not grayed out because grayed out apps and utilities mean that they do not have a trigger. For example, you'll notice that Shopify is not grayed out and you'll notice when I hover over it, I get this little I. This pops up a window that shows me all the different triggers that are available. On the left-hand side, I see that the very first one, customer created is one of the triggers available to Shopify.
