- [Instructor] One of the most powerful and useful capability of FileMaker Pro, is it's ability to group and summarize data in a report format. This allows you to do things like aggregate, organize, or otherwise just manipulate data that users have already entered into your system into reports and outputs that give you the visibility of data that you wouldn't normally have. The most powerful type of report in FileMaker is something that's referred to as a Subsummary Report. At its essence, a Subsummary Report is a way to present a list of data that's grouped by a certain variable. So let me give you an example of it with the invoice list view here. What we've got is a simple list view, compelling enough information. It's a list view where we can feed it different find criteria and create a found set, if we want to, but I can show you one simple way that we can turn this list view into a report.
