Adding the If script step to a script
- [Instructor] So let's say you've determined that you want to add some conditional criteria to your scripts. Specifically, in our case, we've got two different letters, a welcome letter and an inactive letter, and we want to send a welcome letter to any customer that has a status of pending, and we want to send a inactive letter to any customer that has the status of inactive. We see that we can determine that on a record-by-record basis. So if I go into my Print Welcome Letter script, I can duplicate it to create another one, we'll call this the Print Customer Letter Conditional, I'll go ahead and save that for right now, and first we'll get rid of our dialog. And now we have to determine where we're going to insert the condition. So the only thing that's really going to be affected by the condition is which layout we go to, so I've isolated script step number one, which is go to layout. I'm going to duplicate that by…
